Welcome to Nepal and the start of our adventure! An Airport Representative will greet you upon landing and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. There will be a final briefing in the evening, and then it’s time to rest for the exciting day ahead.

Today’s drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar brings us closer to the trek’s starting point. Get ready for the first glimpse of snow-capped mountain scenery!

Approximate Time: Drive (1 hour) and Trekking (5 to 6 hours). 8 Km Hike/5 miles
Elevation: Chamje 1385m/4540ft

We leave Besisahar early, driving to Syange and taking the first stroll of our journey. Descending steeply, we cross the Marsyangdi River via a suspension bridge, passing through the stone village of Jagat before reaching Chamje.

Approximate Time: Trekking (6 to 8 hours). 15 km/9 miles
Elevation: Bagarchap 2160m

Continuing along the Marsyangdi, we climb towards Tal, reaching Bagarchhap by the end of the day, surrounded by flat-roofed homes against a backdrop of apple orchards and maize fields.

Chame 2710m/7090ft

Passing through Tyanja, we trek through the forest and parallel to a river, reaching Chame, the seat of the Manang district, with stunning views of Annapurna II.

Pisang 3250m/10660ft
Trekking through the forest and across a steep valley, we head to Pisang, where we are treated to spectacular views of the Paungda Danda rock face.

Approximate Time: Trekking (6 to 7 hours). 15 km/9 miles
Elevation: Manang 3540m/11600ft

Trekking through Manang’s higher, drier portion, we pass through Mungji village and either Hongde or Ghyaru, reaching our guesthouse at Manang.

Elevation: Manang 3540m/11600ft Rest Day

A rest day in Manang is needed to acclimate, explore the village, and gradually adjust to the altitude.

Approximate Time: Trekking (3 to 4 hours). 10km/6 miles
Elevation: Yak Kharka 4050m/13290ft

Our trail ascends steeply to Yak Kharka, passing through the Tenki Manang and along the Jarsang Khola Valley.

Thorung Phedi 4450m/14600ft
We climb high for about two hours before descending slightly, reaching Thorong Phedi, where we prepare for the challenging climb ahead.

Muktinath 3800m/12460ft via Thorung Pass 5416m/17800ft

An early start for a steep climb to Thorung La Pass at 5,416m, followed by a descent to the holy town of Muktinath.

Marpha 2670m/8760ft

Trekking from Muktinath to Kagbeni via Jhong, a less-travelled but richly rewarding leg of the Annapurna Circuit.

Elevation: Ghasa 2010m/6600ft

Trekking to Ghasa, a small Thakali settlement, passing through charming villages and enjoying the changing climate.

Tatopani 1200m/3940ft

Trekking to Tatopani, known for its hot springs, passing through ethnically diverse villages and lush greenery.

Approximate Time: Trekking (7 to 8 hours). 15km/9 miles

 Ghorepani 2870m/9410ft

A challenging leg through Shikha to Ghorepani, a significant stop for trekkers, bustling with activity.

Approximate Time: Trekking (6 to 7 hours). 15km/9 miles
Elevation: Poon Hill 3200m/10500ft

An early morning excursion to Poon Hill for a breathtaking sunrise panorama, followed by a downhill stroll to Nayapul. A taxi ride takes us to Pokhara for a comfortable stay.

Elevation: Pokhara 1000m/3280ft

 An early morning flight back to Kathmandu, with the rest of the day free for relaxation. A farewell dinner is planned for the evening.
