Day 01: Starting from Tabant (1850m) after an early transfer from Marrakech, our guide and mules accompany us on a leisurely 3 to 4-hour walk to our campsite near the summer pastures of Azib n’Ikkis (2250m). En route, we traverse the charming Berber villages of Ait Said and Arouss.

Day 02: Starting from Tabant (1850m) after an early transfer from Marrakech, our guide and mules accompany us on a leisurely 3 to 4-hour walk to our campsite near the summer pastures of Azib n’Ikkis (2250m). En route, we traverse the charming Berber villages of Ait Said and Arouss.

Day 03: An early start for a 4 to 5-hour climb to M’Goun Summit, not technically challenging but occasionally steep with narrow ridges. The effort is rewarded with magnificent views. The descent, retracing our steps, takes about 3 hours.

Day 04: A diverse day’s walk from Tarkeddid refuge to Ain Aflafal, circling Arouss Gorge, crossing streams, and ascending Oumsoud Pass (2969m). Enjoy a picnic in a charming meadow in Oulilimt Valley. The scenic river-side trail takes us to Ain Aflafal refuge in about 3 hours.

Day 05: 6-hours walk today to Tabant involves returning over Ait Imi Pass (2905m). Initially, it’s an easy stroll through summer pastures, but nearing the pass, we ascend with a steep climb. From the pass, we get panoramic views of the M’Goun valley and Tabant on clear days. The descent, steep and over loose scree, leads to Ait Imi village in about 90 minutes, and Tabant is just an additional 30 minutes away, where we spend the night.

Day 06: Tabant – Marrakech
