Day 02: Embark on an introductory stroll through Auckland, a vibrant melting pot nestled in the Southern Hemisphere. Next, embark on a ferry voyage to enchanting Waiheke Island, famed for its exquisite vineyards and serene coastlines. Explore two wineries, delving into New Zealand’s thriving wine scene and its rich viticultural legacy, all while savoring unique local varietals.

Day 03: Embark on a journey to Rotorua, a lakeside town teeming with volcanic wonders and Maori legacy atop an active geothermal zone. Along the way, pause at the enchanting Waitomo Glowworm Caves, where a boat ride unveils a mesmerizing display of glowing creatures in the depths. Rotorua’s bubbling mud pits and vibrant pools scattered throughout the area speak volumes of its rich Maori heritage intertwined with the geothermal landscape.

Day 04: Embark on an enriching journey to Kohutapu Lodge, owned by the Maori, to delve into New Zealand’s indigenous heritage. Witness ancient rock carvings imbued with spiritual significance and savor a traditional hangi lunch, cooked underground. Explore the ancient Whirinaki Rainforest, discovering its 800-year-old podocarp trees and unique wildlife. Conclude your day with optional evening dining or relaxation in Rotorua’s soothing hot springs.

Day 05: Savor a leisurely morning before your flight to Christchurch, nestled in New Zealand’s scenic South Island. Use the opportunity to discover the charm of this compact city at your own pace.

In Rotorua, indulge in a serene morning by unwinding in the rejuvenating hot pools supplied with pure, natural spring water.

Day 06: Embark on the TranzAlpine train, renowned for its breathtaking journey through lush plains, dense beech forests, and mist-covered mountains. Pause briefly at Arthur’s Pass, nestled in the Southern Alps, before reaching Greymouth, the gateway to the West Coast. From there, travel by private vehicle to a rainforest lodge near Franz Josef, where we’ll be based for the next two nights.

Note: During the Christmas and New Year period, the TranzAlpine train may not be available. In such cases, your CEO will lead a scenic drive through the Southern Alps, with an additional holiday dinner arranged for the group.

Day 07: Explore the marvels of Franz Josef’s wilderness at your leisure today. Choose to wander through its beauty on foot, indulge in soothing hot springs amidst breathtaking mountain vistas, and embrace more adventures.

Please be aware that optional activities in Franz Josef may be subject to cancellation in case of unfavorable weather conditions.

Day 08: Embark on a journey to Queenstown via the stunning west coast of the South Island. Take a moment at serene Lake Matheson, where clear skies offer a picture-perfect reflection of New Zealand’s tallest peaks. Then, venture on to Queenstown, with opportunities for brief rainforest strolls and visits to charming waterfalls along the way. Begin your day early to reach the picturesque Lake Matheson. When conditions align, seize the chance to capture the Southern Alps mirrored in its waters. Traverse the rugged West Coast Road, immersing yourself in the rainforest before indulging in short walks and waterfall sightings.

Day 09: Embark on a mesmerizing journey through Fiordland National Park aboard our cruise. Glide past majestic waterfalls and towering cliffs while our knowledgeable guides point out wildlife such as dolphins, seals, and penguins. Depending on the season, unwind in cozy cabins overnight and marvel at the stars from the deck. Indulge in a delectable three-course buffet dinner prepared by our chef and mingle with fellow travelers over fine wines at the bar. Rest assured, your private cabin comes with all modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay amidst nature’s wonders.

Day 10: Begin your day with an early morning wildlife expedition, cruising through the untouched fjord. Return to Queenstown afterward and indulge in the vibrant atmosphere of this lakeside town renowned as the global hub for adventure seekers. Enjoy the remainder of your day at your own pace, exploring the myriad of activities on offer.

Day 11: Discover Queenstown at your leisure. Opt for a scenic cruise on Lake Wakatipu aboard a vintage steamer, indulge in an exhilarating jet boat adventure, or treat yourself to a wine tasting at a nearby vineyard showcasing top-notch vintages. As night falls, ascend Bob’s Peak via cable car for breathtaking views of Lake Wakatipu and the majestic Southern Alps.

Day 12: Feel free to depart at your convenience. If you’re keen on delving into Queenstown’s endless adrenaline-fueled adventures, consider extending your stay with your agent for extra exploration time. With activities like jet boating and mountain biking, this renowned “adventure capital of the world” won’t disappoint
