 Day 01: Embark on a unique trek from Cuzco to Soraypampa Camp (3,920m). Begin your journey with an early pick-up, traveling through Mollepata and Challacancha. Enjoy breathtaking mountain views during a 3-hour walk to Soraypampa, where you’ll have lunch. Hike to Laguna de Humantay for stunning Andes vistas before settling in at the highest campsite (3,920m). Rest, savor nature, dine, and retire early for a memorable night. Start your adventure with a Cuzco transfer and an overnight stay at Soraypampa Camp.

Day 02: Embark on an exhilarating journey to Challhuay or Colcapampa Camp through the High Pass (4,650m). After a 6:00 am breakfast, indulge in a 4-hour trek to the summit nestled between the majestic Salkantay (6,267m) and Humantay (5,900m) mountains. Opt for a horse rental to reach the high pass at 100 – 120 soles. Marvel at the breathtaking snow-capped peaks during the downhill hike, followed by a delightful lunch at Huayracpampa. Conclude the day with a 3-hour trek to Challhuay or Colcapampa, marking the transition to the lush high jungle region at 2,900 meters. Unforgettable vistas await at the trek’s pinnacle.

Day 03: Embark on a morning trek to La Playa, where lush landscapes unfold—crossing the Santa Teresa River and meandering through valleys. Enjoy a scenic lunch at La Playa (2,200m) before a car ride to Santa Teresa town (1,700m), our cozy camp for the night. Opt for a relaxing visit to the local hot springs (additional cost), a rewarding break after three challenging days of trekking. Explore the upper jungle, witness waterfalls, and immerse yourself in tropical flora throughout the day.

Day 04: Embark on the Hydroelectric Station & Aguas Calientes Journey (B/L/D) Begin your day with an 8:00 am breakfast, as we venture from Santa Teresa (1,700m) on a serene 3-hour trail to the hydroelectric station (1,880m), where a delightful box lunch awaits. A subsequent 3-hour, gentle uphill trek leads to Aguas Calientes (2,010m), offering a chance to unwind before our Machu Picchu exploration. Conclude the day with dinner at a local traditional eatery.

*Optional bus transfer from Santa Teresa is available for an extra cost.
*Optional train transfer from Hydroelectric Station to Aguas Calientes is available for an additional fee. Explore the town of Aguas Calientes, featuring internet cafes, board game and card cafes, numerous shops, and relaxing spots.

Day 05: Embark on an early adventure to Machu Picchu, catching the 5:30 am bus for a breathtaking morning experience. Enjoy a guided tour, followed by free exploration. Opt for a climb up Huayna Picchu (pre-booked at extra cost), then return to Aguas Calientes by bus. Take a train to Ollantaytambo and a bus to Cuzco, arriving around 18:30 hrs at Plaza San Francisco. Explore Machu Picchu and return to Cuzco on a thrilling journey.
