 Day 01: Arrive anytime, transfer to your hotel, and savor a South African braai for dinner. Stay in Kempton Park, close to the airport, with easy taxi arrangements. Accommodation at Kopanong Hotel or similar. Dinner included. Arrival transfer scheduled from 00:30 to 00:45 Hrs. Enjoy a traditional braai and a welcome meeting. For extra time in Johannesburg, consider booking pre-accommodation to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 02: Embark on a scenic journey to Kruger National Park via the breathtaking Panorama Route. Explore landmarks like Blyde River Canyon and Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and enjoy panoramic views from God’s Window. Reach our lodge near Kruger, and savor a delightful South African dinner at this picturesque spot.

Day 03: Embark on a full-day safari in Kruger National Park, known for its diverse wildlife. Spot elephants, lions, and giraffes aboard an open jeep. Return to the lodge to relax and experience the nocturnal sounds of the bush. Kruger, spanning over 19,000 sq km, boasts 147 species of large mammals, making it one of the world’s largest reserves. Accommodation at Umbhaba Eco Lodge or similar, with breakfast and dinner included. Enjoy a full-day wildlife safari drive in an open vehicle.

Day 04: Explore the Karongwe Private Game Reserve, a pristine wildlife sanctuary in the Greater Kruger area. Meet a researcher from the Endangered Wildlife Trust’s Cheetah Metapopulation Project, funded by National Geographic’s Big Cats Initiative. Join the researcher on a wildlife-viewing excursion through the reserve. Enjoy ranger-led morning and evening safari drives in an open vehicle, searching for Africa’s Big Five. Stay in lodges or comfortable tents within the reserve, with meals included. Experience the Carnivore Conservation program and explore over 9,000 hectares of African bushveld. Please note that accommodations may vary based on availability, ensuring a quality experience within the Greater Kruger area.

Day 05: Explore Karongwe on morning and afternoon safaris with local guides, searching for Africa’s “big five” in the bushveld. Relax at camp, take a walk, and enjoy the wildlife. Start your day at 5 am with a morning safari, followed by brunch and leisure time. Converse on the deck, stroll the grounds, and enjoy high tea. Afterward, embark on a late afternoon safari drive, spotting wildlife before returning to camp for dinner.
