Rio De Janeiro - Amazon Rainforest
Day 01: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted at the airport and taken to your accommodation. Settle in and get ready to discover the city at your leisure for the remainder of the day.
Day 02: Embark on a full-day Rio de Janeiro city tour, exploring iconic landmarks like Christ the Redeemer, Tijuca Forest, Maracanã Stadium, Sambadrome, and Sugar Loaf. Enjoy outside visits to key sites and wrap up the day at Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon beaches. All tickets are included, and meals consist of breakfast. Note: A shorter version is available during Carnival, focusing on Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf. To experience the full tour, arrive in Rio a few days before the carnival begins.
Day 03: Explore Tijuca National Park, Brazil’s most visited and one of the world’s largest urban parks. Begin the eco-tour at the base of Pedra Bonita, offering a breathtaking view of Rio de Janeiro. Hike the light Pedra Bonita trail for stunning vistas of Pedra da Gávea and Barra da Tijuca beaches. Descend to discover Tijuca Forest’s attractions, including Cascatinha Taunay and Chapel Mayrink. End the tour with a refreshing shower at Cachoeira das Almas. Optional hang-gliding flight for the adventurous.
Day 04: Transfer from your Rio accommodation to the airport for your flight to Manaus (flight ticket not included). Upon arrival in Manaus, the capital of Amazonas, we’ll greet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation. Explore the city! Includes breakfast.
Day 05: Embark on our journey at 8:00 AM from Manaus. Head to Port of Ceasa, and catch a speedboat to Careiro with a stop at the Meeting of the Waters for photos. Travel by car or minibus to the Mamorí River, capturing shots of the famed Vitória Régia. Hear the legend as you cruise in another speedboat, spotting birds and alligators. Reach Amazon Jungle Lodge by 12 PM-1 PM. Enjoy meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. After lunch, explore the area by canoe, returning for dinner at the lodge.
Day 06: On the seventh day, commence your adventure at 7:00 AM. Explore the jungle with a local guide, gaining insights into wildlife. Engage in piranha fishing, followed by dinner and an evening observation of caimans and nocturnal creatures.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner included.
Day 07: Enjoy the mesmerizing sunrise and vibrant birds, followed by a visit to a local caboclo’s house to learn about their customs. Explore the towering Sumaúma tree, renowned as the “tree of life” and “heaven’s stairway,” known for its medicinal powers and significance in the Amazon forest. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 08: Return to your Manaus hotel via the same route you took.
Day 09: The journey concludes. Have a pleasant return and until next time!
