Kenai & Denali (Alaska)
Day 01: Feel free to come by whenever suits you.
Day 02: Embark on a breathtaking journey down the Kenai Peninsula via the picturesque Seward Highway, flanked by cliffs and ocean views, and enveloped by the majestic Chugach National Forest. Delve into Kenai Fjords National Park, where an afternoon hike along the Harding Icefield Trail unveils the awe-inspiring magnitude of Exit Glacier. Start your day in Anchorage and venture southward to the Kenai Peninsula’s icy embrace. Spend the day immersed in the wonders of this glacial landscape, exploring fjords, uncovering their rich history and scientific marvels, all while basking in their remote and pristine allure.
Day 03: Indulge in a day of leisure in Seward. Consider embarking on a captivating boat journey amidst the Kenai fjords to witness glaciers and wildlife up close, explore stunning landscapes on a hike, or discover marine wonders at the Alaska SeaLife Center.
Day 04: Head northward to charming Talkeetna. Explore the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Museum to delve into its rich history. Choose from various activities like a scenic flight, rafting along the river, or embarking on a jet boat adventure to discover the region’s wildlife, vegetation, and early inhabitants. Alternatively, stay in town for some shopping or indulge in craft beer tasting at the local microbrewery.

Day 05: Travel northward while keeping your cameras handy to capture the breathtaking views en route to Denali National Park. Experience a dog sledding demonstration and consider going for a hike in the park. Take advantage of ample time to explore Denali NP, with opportunities to hike numerous trails and marvel at the diverse glacial landscape, including expansive rivers, numerous lakes and ponds, and distinctive landforms that support thriving ecosystems. In case of unfavorable weather for flightseeing on Day 4, there’s a chance to try again before heading to Denali.
Day 06: Embark on an adventure through Denali National Park, immersing yourself in its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. From majestic mountains to vibrant flora and fauna, soak in the beauty of nature as you keep watch for moose, bears, and caribou throughout the day!
Day 07: Bid adieu to Denali National Park and commence your journey back to Anchorage. Consider the option of partaking in a group gathering for a final dinner together.
Day 08: Feel free to leave whenever you please.
