Once the illustrious capital of the Mughal Empire from 1526 to 1658, Agra boasts magnificent Mughal-era landmarks. Among its treasures are the UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri. Originally a stronghold of the Chauhan Rajputs, Agra Fort saw transformations under different rulers, notably Sikandar Lodi, who made it his seat of power. Spend the night in Agra, soaking in its rich history and architectural wonders.

On the way to Jaipur, stop by Fatehpur Sikri, a captivating deserted city constructed by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. This once-thriving capital was abandoned after just 15 years due to water shortages but remains remarkably preserved, offering a glimpse into the empire’s grandeur. Explore highlights such as Darbar-e-Aam, Palaces, Panch Mahal, Taansen Seat, and the impressive Sufi Sent Doom. Upon reaching Jaipur, check-in at the hotel.
