Day 01: Upon arrival in Cochin, experience a warm traditional welcome before our representative guides you from the airport to your hotel for check-in.

Day 02: At 0900 hrs, we embark on a half-day exploration of Cochin, starting with landmarks like St. Francis’ Church, the Dutch Palace, Jew Town, and the historic Jewish Synagogue. We’ll also visit the lively spice market and witness the iconic Chinese fishing nets.
In the afternoon, our journey continues to Munnar, which is approximately 150 km away. This place offers breathtaking vistas of waterfalls, towering mountains, and drifting clouds. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Munnar, nestled at the convergence of three mountain streams, stands 1600 meters above sea level. Once a favoured retreat of the British, this charming hill station boasts expansive tea gardens, quaint streets, and ample opportunities for trekking and relaxation.

Day 03: After breakfast, we embark on a morning tour of Munnar, discovering the world’s tallest tea plantations sprawling across vast distances like emerald carpets. Surrounded by verdant hills, Munnar is a sight to behold. We’ll also visit Eravikulam National Park, renowned for Nilgiri Tahrs (closed in January and February). The rest of the day is yours to explore at leisure.

Day 04: Our journey takes us to the renowned Periyar Wildlife Reserve. Nestled by a picturesque lakeside, it is a beloved sanctuary in South India. Periyar offers a captivating lake cruise, providing glimpses of its diverse wildlife inhabitants, including tigers, leopards, elephants, and bird species. Optional: Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake. Our overnight stay awaits in the heart of Periyar’s wilderness.
Day 05: Good morning! Today’s adventure starts with an Elephant safari through Periyar, followed by a tour of a Spice Plantation and a scenic Boat ride on Periyar Lake. Later, we’ll drive to Kottayamtorcheck Inn at the hotel.
Kumarakom, nestled in the district of Kottayam, is renowned as a backwater haven in Kerala. Accessible via a journey from Alappuzha, it stands out as a captivating retreat in God’s Own Country. The verdant landscapes, nestled along the Vembanad Lake amidst mangroves and coconut palms, offer a serene escape. Kumarakom is ideal for picnics, offering activities like boating, fishing, and sightseeing amidst its lush surroundings. Explore the tranquil backwaters teeming with diverse wildlife and vibrant flora. Spend the night in this charming haven, experiencing Kerala’s natural beauty.
Day 06: After enjoying breakfast, depart and explore the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Birdwatchers can delight in two seasons: one featuring cormorants and teals from October to February and another showcasing darters, night herons, egrets, and Siberian storks from February to July. Watch for unique species like the golden-backed woodpecker, crow pheasant, and white-breasted water hen.
Next, head to the jetty and embark on a traditional houseboat, known locally as Kettuvallam, for a serene cruise along the picturesque Vembanad Lake. This tranquil setting is an ideal picnic spot, relaxing mind and body amidst cooling waters and lush greenery. Families can enjoy various activities, from leisurely reading to fishing and boating, while observing the daily life of villagers along the backwaters en route to Alleppy.

Day 07: This morning, we left the houseboat in Alleppey and headed to Cochin airport to catch our flight to our next destination.
