Day 01: Discover Vietnam, a captivating realm steeped in millennia of history, breathtaking scenery, a myriad of culinary delights, and a rich tapestry of culture embraced by warm-hearted locals. Upon arrival, your guide will greet and escort you to your hotel for check-in. Take advantage of your free time to wander through the enchanting alleyways of Hanoi’s Old Quarter or unwind with a rejuvenating night’s rest before embarking on your adventure.
Day 02: Begin your adventure from your Ha Noi hotel at approximately 4:00 pm, embarking on a cyclo journey through the bustling trading district of the Hanoi Old Quarter.
Following this exciting ride, we’ll pause at the Thang Long Theatre for an hour-long water puppet performance, a renowned aspect of Vietnamese culture boasting over 800 years of tradition originating from the Red River area in Northern Vietnam. Upon the show’s conclusion, savor a delightful dinner at a nearby eatery, indulging in a selection of Vietnam’s signature dishes.
Day 03: Following breakfast at the hotel, our driver will transport you to Halong Bay, renowned for its stunning natural beauty and referred to in Vietnamese as “Dragon descending to the sea.”
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the boat crew, check in, and embark on a cruise around Halong Bay, indulging in a delectable local seafood lunch served onboard—Marvel at the myriad limestone islands and caves emerging from the crystal-clear emerald waters.
After a brief respite, engage in various activities offered by the cruise itinerary, such as cave exploration, kayaking, or a refreshing swim in the sea, before returning to the vessel for relaxation and dinner. Spend the night onboard, immersed in the tranquility of the bay.
Day 04: Begin your second day in Halong with an invigorating tai chi session, or marvel at the breathtaking sunrise over the bay. Following breakfast, embark on a journey to discover Halong’s most captivating caves.
Enjoy an early lunch en route to the main dock before transferring to the airport for your flight to Hue.
Upon reaching Hue, your tour guide will greet you and accompany you to your hotel for check-in, allowing you to unwind for the remainder of the day.
Day 05: Morning Schedule: 8:30 am: Begin your day with a chauffeured ride from your accommodation to the boat station for a scenic cruise along the Perfume River. 9:00 am: Explore the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, renowned as the emblem of Hue. 10:00 am: Embark on a journey to Minh Mang Tomb, an architectural masterpiece in natural beauty. 12:30 pm: Take a break for lunch at a local eatery.
Afternoon Itinerary: 2:00 pm: Meet your knowledgeable kite-making instructor for a hands-on session crafting and decorating kites. 3:00 pm: Enjoy the serene countryside as you fly your personalized kite. 4:30 pm: Conclude your day with a drop-off at your hotel in Hue city center.
Day 06: Explore the breathtaking beauty of the Hai Van Pass.
Day 07: Begin your culinary adventure in Hoi An with a hotel pickup. Accompanied by our chef, embark on a vibrant market tour lasting approximately one hour to gather fresh ingredients and witness the local shopping scene.
Next, glide across the waters to Cam Thanh village via boat. Experience the art of basketboat riding, engage in thrilling boat races, and learn traditional fishing techniques using rods and nets. Navigate through picturesque channels enveloped by lush coconut palm forests.
Following the eco-exploration, unwind at our restaurant and dive into a two-hour cooking class with our expert chef. Delve into the secrets of Vietnamese cuisine and savor the dishes you create. Conclude your experience with a well-deserved break and take home cherished souvenirs of your culinary journey.
Day 08: Discover the ideal keepsake from Hoi An with a lantern-making class. Infuse your creativity into these timeless symbols of good fortune, believed by locals, to bring joy and luck to your home. Crafted in this ancient town’s tradition, these lanterns instantly transport you to quaint streets. Opt for a swift session with pre-prepared materials or dive into the whole experience from scratch. Shape your lantern into lotuses, triangles, garlic, or diamonds, and select from an array of silk styles and colors. Guided by a proficient English-speaking instructor, this engaging activity suits the whole family, including children as young as 3.
Day 09: Make the most of your leisure day in Hoi An.
Day 10: Catch a flight from Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City with a layover at Danang Airport.
Day 11: Embark on a half-day excursion to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels. Meet our guide in the hotel lobby and set off on the 70km journey from Ho Chi Minh City. Explore the intricate network of tunnels North Vietnam’s army used during the Civil War (1955 – 1975). Venture through tunnels, visit hospitals, and see ammunition storage. Experience the Vietnam War firsthand with options to crawl through tunnels or handle authentic firearms (extra fee may apply).
Day 12: Join us for an exciting half-day adventure to the Cu Chi Tunnels! Our journey begins as we meet our guide in the hotel lobby before exploring this historical site, located approximately 70km from Ho Chi Minh City. The tunnels served as a vital military base during the Vietnam War, showcasing a network of underground passages, including hospitals and ammunition storage. Experience the era firsthand by crawling through some tunnels, or opt for firing-gun services for an added thrill (additional fee applies).
Day 13: Make the most of your leisure time exploring Saigon.
