Day 01: Embark on a journey from Lucknow Airport/Railway Station to Dudhwa, a 250 km ride taking around 5 hours. Arrive at Dudhwa before noon, where you’ll check in at the resort. After lunch, set out on a safari to explore the untamed wilderness of KISANPUR. Enjoy a refreshing tea back at the resort, followed by leisure time until dinner. Retire for the night after dinner at the resort. (B, L, D)
Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, spanning Lakhimpur Kheri and Bahraich districts in Uttar Pradesh, encompasses Dudhwa National Park, Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary, and Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary. Dudhwa National Park and Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary merged under “Project Tiger” to form Dudhwa Tiger Reserve in 1987, with Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary joining in 2000. This reserve is one of the seven tiger reserves in India.
Day 02: At dawn, at 05:30, embark on an exhilarating Jeep excursion into the heart of Dudhwa, where the untamed wilderness awaits. Encounter majestic tigers and diverse wildlife amidst the dense forest. Alternatively, venture to the Rhino habitat, ideally on the back of an elephant. Return to the resort for a hearty breakfast. The remainder of the morning is yours to relax or pursue your chosen activities. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the resort before setting off on another jungle expedition in an open Jeep after lunch. Conclude the day’s adventures with a delightful dinner and spend the night at the resort. (B, L, D)
Day 03: Today’s plan involves an early departure at 05:00 hrs for Katerniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary (75kms/2hrs). Packed breakfast and lunch will accompany us. We’ll embark on a thrilling Jeep/Tiger Safari, seeking out tigers, leopards, rhinos, swamp deer, and other wildlife. Following this, we’ll enjoy a scenic boating experience on the Gerva/Karnali River, aiming to spot Gharials and catch a glimpse of Gangetic Dolphins. After returning to the rest house for lunch, we’ll venture out for another jungle exploration on open jeeps. Back at the rest house, we’ll unwind with tea before heading to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 04: At 5:00 in the morning, we embark on an adventure to Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, equipped with breakfast and lunch provisions. Spend the entire day exploring the lush forests of Pilibhit, stopping for lunch at Chuka Beach Post. Following lunch, delve into another safari before returning to the Holiday Home/Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 05: Experience a thrilling day exploring the lush wilderness of Pilibhit with a full-day safari. Delight in a delectable lunch break at Chuka Beach Post, followed by another exciting safari adventure in Pilibhit. Return to your cozy Holiday Home/Lodge for a satisfying dinner and a restful overnight stay.
Day 06: This morning, at 5:30 before breakfast, we embark on our final safari into the heart of Dudhwa. After returning to the resort for breakfast, we head to Lucknow, reaching Lucknow Railway Station/Airport after a scenic 4-hour, 230 km drive.
