Sarnath - Varanasi
Day 01: Tour participants will land at Varanasi Airport according to their scheduled flights. Upon evening arrival, they’ll rendezvous with the tour manager at the airport before heading to the hotel. A brief Meet & Greet session will follow.
Day 02: Today, our journey takes us to Prayagraj, a mesmerizing city nestled at the merging point of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. Upon reaching Prayagraj, we explore Anand Bhavan, once the residence of the Nehru family and now a museum showcasing artifacts from India’s Independence movement era. We then visit the unique Laying Hanuman Temple, featuring a colossal image of Lord Hanuman in a reclining position within an underground pit. Our adventure continues with a serene boat ride at Triveni Sangam, where the rivers converge, offering a picturesque view of the historic Allahabad Fort, a testament to Emperor Akbar’s architectural prowess, situated along the Yamuna’s banks near its confluence with the Ganges.
Day 03: Today’s itinerary includes a visit to the illustrious Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the revered 12 Jyotirlingas, followed by a tour of Banaras Hindu University, originally known as Central Hindu College. We’ll also explore the majestic Birla Mandir, constructed by the esteemed Birla Group of Industries, and the ancient Kaal Bhairav Temple, one of Varanasi’s oldest Shiva shrines. Later, we’ll experience the charm of Varanasi with a delightful rickshaw ride before indulging in some leisurely shopping.
During our visit to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, we’ve arranged a VIP Darshan for your convenience. Please note that VIP Darshan may not be available during official government activities, special delegations, or religious ceremonies. Nonetheless, we’ll make every effort to ensure you experience this privilege, although it doesn’t guarantee immediate access and you may still need to wait in a shorter queue.
Day 04: This morning, we started our day with a breathtaking sunrise at Aassi Ghat. Afterward, we strolled through the historic Akhadas of Varanasi. Our journey then took us to the revered Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his inaugural sermon. There, we explored the Dhamek Stupa and the renowned Sarnath Archaeological Museum, home to the iconic four-headed lion from the Ashoka Pillar. We also experienced the tranquility of the Tibetan Buddhist Monastery. As the day wound down, we embarked on a serene boat ride at Dashashwamedh Ghat, witnessing the enchanting Ganga Arati ceremony.
Day 05: The moment has arrived to bid farewell to our fellow travelers. Tour participants will make their way to Varanasi airport according to their flight schedule, embarking on the journey back home. The tour comes to an end.
