 Day 02: Experience the heart of Buddhism in Japan with a tranquil stay at a temple atop the majestic 800m Mt Koya. Delight in an authentic dinner of shojin ryori, the traditional Buddhist vegetarian fare. Wake up to witness the monks’ morning prayers, immersing yourself in the spiritual ambiance.

Embark on a journey to Mt Koya, established in 816 by the revered Buddhist monk Kobo Daishi. Revel in the breathtaking train ascent, hailed as one of Japan’s most scenic rail routes. Conclude the journey with a thrilling funicular ride and a brief bus trip to reach the monastery.

In the evening, savor the flavors of shojin-ryori cuisine and unwind in a cozy yukata or kimono, embracing the serene atmosphere.

 Day 03: Experience the serene morning prayers of the monks while relishing a classic breakfast. Explore Koyasan’s charm before departing for Hiroshima in the afternoon. Take in the tranquil mountain air as you join the monks for their early rituals, followed by a delightful vegetarian breakfast. Then, embark on a journey down the mountain via bus, train, and funicular. Afterward, set off for Hiroshima, a city steeped in history due to the tragic events of 1945.

Day 04: Start your day with a visit to the Peace Park and Memorial Museum, honoring the events of 1945. Later, embark on a ferry journey to Miyajima Island to behold the iconic floating Torii Gate. Consider exploring the trails of Mt Misen for a scenic hike.

Day 05: Embark on a journey to Kyoto, where adventure awaits. Begin by marveling at the grandeur of Nijo Castle and its exquisite gardens, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As night falls, immerse yourself in the charm of Gion’s geisha district with a guided stroll led by our CEO.

Day 06: Experience the allure of Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine as you wander beneath its vibrant torii gates. Afterward, indulge in leisure activities like riverside strolls, shopping, or discovering more of Kyoto’s diverse temples at your leisure.

Day 07: Embark on a serene voyage across Lake Ashino-ko, with a chance to admire the grandeur of Mount Fuji. Indulge in a delightful Japanese kaiseki feast before unwinding in the soothing embrace of natural hot springs. Visit Hakone, renowned for its onsens nestled amidst the hills. After dusk, relish in an intricate array of authentic Japanese cuisine, concluding with a rejuvenating dip in the onsen. Please remember to utilize the overnight luggage service between Kyoto and Tokyo, and consider preparing an overnight backpack for your essentials.

Day 08: Explore Tokyo’s vibrant offerings with ample time for impromptu shopping excursions. Arrive in the city before midday and delve into its energetic atmosphere. Whether you choose to wander through Ueno Park and its museums, indulge in cutting-edge electronics in Akihabara, explore funky fashions in Harajuku, experience luxury in Ginza, admire the Imperial Palace East Garden, or simply wander the streets in search of traditional gems beneath the modern facade, Tokyo promises a plethora of unforgettable experiences.

Day 09: Feel free to leave whenever you like.
