Day 01: Greetings to Europamundo! Upon your airport arrival, our team will promptly transfer you to your designated hotel. Be sure to peruse the information boards at the hotel reception for updates on the upcoming welcome session with your guide and fellow journey companions.
Day 02: Start your day with a panoramic London tour, taking in iconic sights like Westminster, Parliament, and the Thames. Enjoy leisure time in the afternoon. Optionally, explore the charming River Thames valley and Windsor village with its majestic castle. In the evening, gather at Piccadilly for a stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and vibrant Soho, brimming with theaters and entertainment. Return comfortably to your hotel via coach.
Day 03: We kick off our journey from London, heading northward. Our initial destination is the captivating city of CAMBRIDGE, renowned for its stunning residential colleges. Following a delightful lunch break, our next destination is YORK, boasting a picturesque cathedral, ancient Roman walls, and bustling shopping avenues, offering ample opportunity for leisurely exploration. Our adventure continues as we journey further north to DURHAM, a charming medieval town brimming with vitality, highlighted by its magnificent cathedral set against the backdrop of a grand castle.
Day 04: Today’s journey takes us to Scotland, where we’ll first explore the charming town of ALNWICK, renowned for its scenic gardens and a majestic medieval castle featured in the Harry Potter movies. Our adventure continues to EDINBURGH, the vibrant capital city of Scotland. With its UNESCO World Heritage Site status, Edinburgh boasts a captivating blend of history and modernity, from its iconic castle perched atop the city to its lively streets and parks. A guided tour will unveil the city’s rich tapestry of culture and architecture.
Day 05: Join us for an enlightening experience as we delve into the art of crafting Scotland’s renowned national elixir at a whiskey distillery tour (admission covered). Whiskey, a delightful spirit derived from barley, holds a cherished place not only in Scotland but across the globe, serving as its premier export. Afterward, immerse yourself in the charm of Edinburgh with the remainder of the day at your leisure, exploring its vibrant streets and indulging in its wealth of historical and museum treasures.
Day 06: Leaving Edinburgh, our journey includes a captivating stop to capture THE KELPIES, magnificent sculptures embodying Scottish mythology’s equine prowess and aquatic essence. Moving onward, we reach STIRLING, renowned for its majestic castle steeped in historical significance, witnessing legendary battles and royal coronations. En route, PITLOCHRY beckons, a quaint hub renowned for whiskey production. Here, we explore a traditional distillery (admission included) before lunch. Continuing, we pause at CULLODEN, the site of a pivotal Scottish-British clash, shaping the nation’s history. Arriving in INVERNESS, the “Highland Capital,” we recommend a stroll by the River Ness and its iconic suspension bridge. Note: Culloden visit may vary due to seasonal considerations. Traditional distillery visits may occur in an alternate location based on capacity constraints.
Day 07: Experience an exhilarating journey through the enchanting landscapes of northern Scotland, embracing forests, lochs, and plains. Our first stop will be the captivating EILEAN DONAN CASTLE, renowned as one of the nation’s most iconic fortresses (admission included). Continuing our adventure, we’ll venture to FORT AUGUSTUS to explore its intriguing sluice gate system before enjoying a leisurely lunch and stroll. In the afternoon, we’ll set sail on the enigmatic waters of LOCH NESS for a boat tour, followed by a visit to the historic URQUHART Castle (admission included). Rest for the night in INVERNESS.
Day 08: We’ll continue our journey through stunning landscapes, making a quick stop at SPEAN BRIDGE to explore a monument commemorating the Second World War. Next, we’ll visit FORT WILLIAM, a bustling tourist hub nestled at the base of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest peak. Passing by the enchanting ruins of KILCHURN Castle by a serene lake, we’ll then arrive at the charming historic village of INVERARAY, situated alongside Loch Fyne, boasting a grand castle and tranquil streets. After lunch, we’ll follow the scenic route around Loch Lomond, Scotland’s beloved lake, and take a leisurely walk in BALLOCH, the vibrant town on its shores. Our day concludes with an evening arrival in GLASGOW, where we’ll explore the lively city center.
Day 09: Today, our adventure begins as we depart from Glasgow, bound for southern Scotland. Our route includes a ferry voyage from Cairnryan to Belfast, the vibrant capital of Northern Ireland, renowned for its resilience amid religious tensions. Continuing onward, we’ll cross into Ireland, reaching our final destination of Dublin by day’s end.
Day 10: Our day begins with a delightful exploration of Dublin, the serene capital of Ireland. We’ll wander along the River Liffey, taking in the charm of its parks, historic university, and vibrant city center. Depending on sunlight availability, we may also visit Trinity College in the afternoon upon arrival in Dublin. Enjoy some leisure time in the afternoon.
Day 11: Tomorrow morning, we’ll leave Dublin for a captivating journey to Powerscourt Estate, renowned for its 18th-century gardens hailed as Ireland’s finest (admission included). Marvel at the elegant fountains, explore the Japanese Gardens, and pay homage to the unique pet cemetery. Following this, our adventure takes us to Kilkenny, where we’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch and explore the vibrant town. Continuing southward, we’ll pause to explore the awe-inspiring Rock of Cashel (admission included), a historic stronghold symbolizing Ireland’s resilience against English domination. Our day concludes with an evening arrival in Cork, where we’ll take a delightful stroll through the heart of the city, followed by a satisfying dinner.
Day 12: Our journey begins with a visit to KINSALE, where we’ll pause at Charles Fort to soak in the breathtaking ocean vistas beside the 17th-century stronghold. Explore the historic charm of KINSALE’s seaside center, renowned as one of Ireland’s most scenic coastal towns. Next, we’ll venture to KILLARNEY, a bustling tourist hub nestled in Ireland’s heartland. Indulge in a leisurely lunch and a scenic stroll, followed by a romantic horse-drawn carriage tour through its national park, featuring a stop at Ross Castle for panoramic lake views. Our itinerary includes a delightful cruise to further savor the natural beauty. Along the way, we’ll make a brief visit to ADARE, a quaint village showcasing traditional thatched-roof cottages and ancient abbey ruins. By mid-afternoon, we’ll reach LIMERICK, offering ample time to explore its city center, including its castle, riverside promenades, majestic cathedral, and vibrant shopping district. Dinner will be provided.
Day 13: Today’s adventure includes a journey to FOLK PARK nestled in BUNRATTY, where admission is covered. Immerse yourself in the charm of Ireland’s past, exploring quaint cottages and bustling old markets. The castle offers a glimpse into medieval life. Next, we’ll venture to CAHERCONNELL to marvel at the Poulnabrone Dolmen and possibly witness a fascinating sheepdog exhibition. Then, it’s off to the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, with optional access to O’Brien’s Tower (included). En route, we’ll traverse the stunning landscapes of Burren National Park before reaching our final destination: GALWAY.
Day 14: Our journey will lead us to CONG, a charming hamlet nestled amidst stunning lakeside scenery. Exploring the remnants of the Royal Abbey and strolling through the majestic Ashford Castle, now a splendid hotel, will be highlighted. Following lunch in CLONMACNOISE, we’ll delve into its ancient monastic remains (admission covered). Eventually, we’ll return to DUBLIN by evening.
