We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a MICE & Government Travel Sales Manager. The ideal candidate should possess at least 10 years of experience with substantial exposure in MICE sales. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the growth and success of our organization. Your primary responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base. Additionally, you will be tasked with building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients and partners, to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of travel sales and business development and should have experience in managing overseas agents.

The objective is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Required Skills

    • University graduate in Business Discipline with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Airline / Hotel / Travel Industry of which a minimum of 5 years at a managerial level.
    • Strong general management and leadership skills, along with a well-developed sense of commercial acumen.
    • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
    • Proven time management and organizational skills, ability to work efficiently on multi-tasks and opportunities.
    • Be an effective strategist and a dynamic business builder with strong conceptual, planning, and implementation skills.
    • Must have extensive experience across a broad range of travel/airline-related disciplines with an in-depth understanding of professional, governmental, and legal compliance requirements at a local and international level, including a minimum of 5 years experience in heading a Corporate Business Team of a Mid-Size / Large Travel Management company. Must be able to provide supporting evidence of previous performance and track record.
    • Must possess excellent People Management Skills with highly effective communication and negotiation skills.
    • Must have prior experience in travel agency product pricing, and contract negotiation and must be familiar with the unique complexities associated with the industry and airline and customer requirements.
    • Must have a proven track record of strategic planning budgeting and delivery.
    • Previous experience/awareness of the Indian market and airline and travel industries.
    • Must be able to increase revenue and acquire corporate business.
    • Languages known as English, Hindi & Marathi.
    • Must have a passport.
