We seek a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Intern with 0 to 1+ years of experience. You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be in the planning, execution, and optimization of our online & offline marketing and advertising activities. Promoting products and services through digital channels is a complex procedure with great potential that becomes increasingly useful for companies such as ours. The ideal candidate will be passionate about all aspects related to marketing, design, and technology. You will be well-versed in digital marketing concepts and how the Internet can become a solid asset for securing growing revenue. You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaign.

The ideal candidate should have an educational background and experience in marketing, as well as preferred graphic design skills. In general, knowledge of the Travel, Tourism, and Tours market is a must.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting Digital Media and forging strong client relationships.

Roles & Responsibility

  • Assist in formulating strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers.
  • Planned, managed, and monitored the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Handling International consumers & International digital promotion
  • Launch optimized online adverts through Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, etc., to increase company sales and brand awareness
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization, etc.)
  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels.
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update the website
  • Collaborate with operational & technical teams to improve the user experience
  • Measure the performance of digital marketing efforts using various Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc.)
  • Acquire insight into online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date.
  • Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors
  • Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly
  • Conduct market research to understand the customer, develop customer personas and experience journeys and identify new opportunities
  • Gather and analyze consumer behaviour data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
  • Create reports on marketing and sales metrics, like conversion rates
  • Assist with organizing promotional events
  • Coordinate with the Marketing & operational teams to create advertising material.
  • Coordinate with creative graphic designers and freelancers to produce marketing content.
  • Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
  • Monitor competitors’ marketing activities

Required Skills

    • Proven working experience as a Digital Marketing Intern  0-1+ years minimum in Tourism industry
    • Knowledge of marketing digital tools (Hubspot, Mailchimp, Google keyword planner, sprout, buffer, etc) and techniques
    • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
    • Experience with B2C social media, Google AdWords, Facebook ads and email campaigns and SEO/SEM campaigns
    • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends, etc.)
    • Basic understanding of creative content writing
    • Basic knowledge of creative graphic design
    • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
    • Time management and planning skills
    • Bachelor/MBA in Marketing, Digital Media, Communication or a relevant field 
    • Languages known as English, Hindi & Marathi
    • Must have passport
