Day 01: Meet at the hotel at 11:30 a.m. for lunch, then visit the Apartheid Museum, the first to focus on 20th-century South African history. Followed by a panoramic tour of Johannesburg, known for its financial prowess and vibrant atmosphere. Check into the five-star LS hotel before dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 02: Fly from Johannesburg to Kasane, Botswana. Transfer to your CroisiEurope lodge on a private boat, enjoying birdwatching and possible wildlife sightings. Greeted by the crew, settle into your lodge, have dinner, and spend a peaceful night surrounded by wilderness.
Day 03: Embark on a full-day Jeep safari in Chobe National Park, home to a significant elephant population. Lunch in a unique “floating restaurant” in the river, followed by a private boat journey along Chobe River to Sedudu Island. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the provided accommodation.
Day 04: Explore authentic villages on Impalila Island, Namibia, discovering traditional houses and customs. Return to the lodge for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure by the pool or join a Zambezi River discovery on a private boat. Dinner at the lodge, with your guide sharing insights into the island’s traditions.
Day 05: Depart from the lodge for a final water safari in Chobe National Park, followed by lunch. Transfer to Kasane airport and board private planes for a scenic flight from Kasane to Kariba. Arrive, transfer to the ship, and settle into your cabins. Begin sailing across Lake Kariba, experiencing its unique landscapes.
Day 06: At sunrise, sail through the unique landscapes of Lake Kariba with drowned trees rising from reflective waters. Explore Matusadona National Park’s waterways on a private boat for unique wildlife encounters. Return for lunch and sail towards Palm Bay. Enjoy a sunset boat ride to admire the changing sky colors. Have dinner and spend the night on board.
Day 07: Morning safari around Matusadona National Park, a pristine area home to elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, and diverse bird species. Lunch on board, followed by sailing and a round table to learn about the lake’s creation, inhabitants, and ecosystem. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 08: At sunrise, sail towards Kariba to disembark and head to the airport. Discover the Kariba Dam’s history and legends, including NyamiNyami, the river god. Fly to Victoria Falls on private planes. Enjoy a lunch cruise on the Zambezi River and an afternoon walking tour of the falls. Dinner and overnight at Hotel LS.
Day 09: Enjoy breakfast. Optionally, take an early morning helicopter excursion to soar over Victoria Falls (must be booked in advance). End of our services at the hotel.
