 Day 01: Arrive in Launceston, and transfer to your hotel. Explore the charming city on a guided tour and enjoy dinner.

Day 02: Travel through northern Tasmania’s scenic wine regions to Bridestowe Lavender Estate. Tour the distillery and sample lavender-infused delights. Continue through Weldborough Pass for picturesque views. Reach St Helens, the game fishing capital, for a two-night stay on Georges Bay.

Day 03: After breakfast, head south for a Wineglass Bay Cruise, exploring Freycinet Peninsula’s beauty. Enjoy the eco-catamaran tour with a knowledgeable local guide, a plowman’s style lunch, and stunning coastal views. Visit Freycinet National Park and Cape Tourville before returning to St Helens.

Day 04: Explore historic Ross and Richmond en route to Hobart. In the capital, take a guided tour through the Botanical Gardens and heritage district of Battery Point.

Day 05: Choose between exploring Port Arthur, cruising around the Isle of the Dead, and visiting the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo, or opt for a Bruny Island tour highlighting local produce. Enjoy your selected activity, and in the evening, savor a farewell dinner at Mures Upper Deck.

Day 06: Explore the Salamanca Market with over 300 stalls showcasing Tasmanian treasures. Later, board the Coral Discoverer, acquaint yourself with onboard facilities, and join Captain’s Welcome Drinks with fellow travelers.

Day 07 to Day 15:
Tasmania Coastal Cruise: – The route is weather-dependent for an optimal experience. Destinations include D’Entrecasteaux Channel, Huon River, Port Davey, Bathurst Harbour, Bruny Island, Maria Island National Park, Freycinet National Park, Schouten Island, Tasman National Park, and Port Arthur Historic Site.

D’Entrecasteaux Channel & Huon River – Cruise the Huon River and D’Entrecasteaux Channel. Visit the Wooden Boat Centre in Franklin to see hand-crafted timber boats. Explore Grandvewe Cheeses, learn about cheesemaking and enjoying a tasting.

Port Davey & Bathurst Harbour – Explore Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour, a reserve three times the size of Sydney Harbour. Spend two days (weather permitting) in the Tasman Wilderness World Heritage-listed area aboard a small ship, allowing access to untouched spots. Encounter the Narrows, sheltered by scenic mountains, and consider kayaking in Bramble Cove or hiking the Balmoral Hill Track. Look out for the elusive orange-bellied parrot.

Bruny Island & Adventure Bay – Scenic cruise along Bruny Island’s coast, admiring dolerite cliffs. Spot Australian fur seals on rocks and take a nature walk to Fluted Cape lookout, potentially spotting Bennett’s Wallabies.

Maria Island National Park – Explore Maria Island National Park’s historic ruins, secluded bays, and rugged cliffs. Look for endemic wildlife like Forester kangaroos, Bennett’s wallabies, and wombats. Take walks to Fossil Cliffs and Reservoir Circuit with ample time to appreciate the natural surroundings.

Freycinet National Park & Schouten Island – Explore the wild beauty of Freycinet National Park on Tasmania’s east coast. Enjoy a guided hike along the Isthmus Track with stunning views, and the chance to swim in the azure waters of Wineglass Bay. Cruise close to Ile des Phoques and Schouten Island to appreciate the crystal-clear waters.

Tasman National Park & Fortescue Bay – Experience the stunning 300-meter sea cliffs of Tasman National Park on the Tasman Peninsula. Look for Australian fur seals, dolphins, and albatross. Hike sections of the Coast Tasman trail to view high dolerite sea cliffs. Optionally, kayak at Canoe Bay from the back of the ship at Fortescue Bay.

Port Arthur Historic Site – Tour the Port Arthur Historic Site, Australia’s most intact and notorious convict prison. Visit the famous sandstone Penitentiary, Convict Church, and Separate Prison on a guided tour.

Day 16: Disembark in Hobart as your tour concludes and bid a fond farewell to the Apple Isle as we transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
