Day 01: Welcome to Budapest! We’ll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your luxurious floating home for the next 15 days. Unpack, relax and get acquainted with your ship.

Day 02: Hop on the Grand Empress steam train from Budapest to Godollo. Explore ornate carriages, have lunch on board, and visit the royal waiting room and Godollo Palace. Return to Budapest. In the morning, tour Budapest’s historic monuments, and in the evening, cruise to Vienna, enjoying the city lights along the river. Available from April to September.

Day 03: Enjoy a relaxing day onboard sailing through Hungary and Slovakia before arriving in Vienna in the evening.

Day 04: After dinner, head to the princely family of Liechtenstein’s City Palace in the heart of Vienna, where we have arranged an exclusive cocktail party and private recital, just for you. A full orchestra will perform classical masterpieces by Mozart and Strauss. You will also be enchanted by an operatic recital and a performance by some members of the Mozart Boys’ Choir.

Day 05: Choose to ride a bike through the Wachau Valley or cruise to Melk for a tour of Melk Abbey. Explore the beautiful town of Durnstein before choosing your activity.

Day 06: Head to Salzburg to visit some of the sites featured in The Sound of Music. Or set off into the Czech Republic, where Cesky Krumlov awaits. Both options conclude in Passau. Otherwise, cruise to Passau and enjoy time to explore at your leisure.

Day 07: In Regensburg, explore its atmospheric World Heritage-listed city centre or perhaps get active and take a guided bike ride to the Walhalla memorial.

Day 08: Perhaps journey through Nuremberg’s history with its Gothic churches and World War II sites. Or keep fit with a guided walk through the Schwarzach Valley.

Day 09: On arrival into Bamberg, join an exploration with a local expert to uncover everything this World Heritage-listed city has to offer. Otherwise, take it easy and relax on board.

Day 10: Embark on a walk to Wurzburg Residence. Perhaps travel to the fairytale town of Rothenburg. Or meet the locals with a visit to a family-owned farm, where a home-baked morning tea is on the menu.

Day 11:  Step ashore in Miltenberg today and set out on a guided exploration. Wander through cobblestone streets and admire the town’s enchanting half-timbered houses before time at leisure to explore on your own.

Day 12: Take a gondola ride or a visit to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum.
In Rudesheim, choose between two experiences. Later, cruise through the Rhine Valley to Koblenz. Here, perhaps join your cruise director for an evening stroll through the charming village.

Day 13: Princess Heide von Hohenzollern graciously welcomes APT guests into her home, Namedy Castle, a royal escape set near the Rhine River in Germany. After wandering through the castle and its manicured gardens, you’ll attend a morning tea.
Cruise to Andernach for a Signature Experience. The afternoon will be spent sailing onwards to The Netherlands.

Day 14: Cruise the canals on a glass-top boat. Or visit Zaanse Schans. Otherwise, stay on board and relax and unwind. Arrive into Amsterdam and set out on your chosen activity. Tonight, enjoy the captain’s farewell dinner.

Day 15: Sadly, the time has come to say goodbye and be transferred to the airport.
