Leave Delhi early at 5 a.m. to catch the flight to Rinpoche Airport Leh. After an hour-long spectacular flight over the Himalayas, arrive in Leh, Tashi Namgyal’Namgyal’s century-old capital. Drive to the hotel, and after a late breakfast, explore Leh, with its palace dominating the old bazaar and a backdrop of snowy peaks.

Spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude of Leh, located at 11480 ft. Visit the Indus Valley, including Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis, Shanti Stupa, and Leh’s anLeh’s forts and gompas. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Spituk Bridge behind the Spituk Monastery. Start the trek through a desolate plain at the foot of Stok Mountain. Arrive at Zingchen through a gorge, experiencing a feeling of complete isolation. Overnight at camps.

Trek from Zingchen to Rumbak through Hemis National Park, known for Snow leopard preservation. Walk through a narrow trail and widen into a valley, arriving at Rumbak. Camp at Yurutse below Gandala Pass. Overnight at camps.

Follow the path along the mountainside, cross a small valley, and ascend the zigzag steep path. Cross Ganda La pass (4380m) and descend towards Shingo. Arrive at the valley of Markha and reach Skiu. Overnight at camps.

Follow a good path on the right bank of Markha, cross the river, and arrive at Chaluk. Walk along the left bank and climb towards Markha village. Camp beyond the town near the river. Overnight at camps.

Trek to Tchatchutse via Hankar village. Overnight at camps.

Trek to Nimaling, a sweeping pasture surrounded by high peaks. Overnight at camps.

Trek to Kongmaru La (5100 M) to view the Ladakh range. Cross the pass and proceed to Shang. Overnight at camps.

Descend along the Martselang-to-Martselang village. Board jeeps, visit Hemis Monastery, and drive to Leh via Shey and Thiksey Monastery. Overnight in a hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to your onward destination.
