Paris to Nice
Day 01: In Paris, we’ll kick off our adventure with a delightful welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Cheers to the exciting journey ahead.
Day 02: After breakfast, we’ll head to Reims to tour the stunning Gothic cathedral. Next, we’ll explore the Champagne region with a delightful champagne tasting at a local vineyard. In the evening, we’ll leisurely wander through the charming town of Troyes, enjoying its cobblestone streets and half-timbered houses before savoring French cuisine for dinner.
Day 03: Today’s schedule includes a guided tour of Troyes with our expert Tour Leader. Explore the charming town with its narrow lantern-lit lanes and 16th-century buildings. After visiting the lively market, the evening is yours to enjoy at one of the cozy cafes or bistros.
Day 04: This morning, join us for a guided tour at La Cité du Vitrail to explore the rich history of stained glass. Afterward, we’ll head to Chablis for a wine tasting of its renowned dry white wines. In the afternoon, explore the Gothic architecture of Beaune before a delightful dinner.
Day 05: Explore the vibrant Burgundy wine region by visiting the historic Hospices de Beaune, originally a 15th-century hospital for the poor and now a unique museum. Afterward, enjoy your afternoon exploring the medieval ramparts or the local Burgundy wine museum.
Day 06: After breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to Beaune and head to Chambéry. Along the way, we’ll pause for a delightful picnic at a family-owned vineyard, indulging in local delicacies. Following lunch with scenic vineyard views, a guided tour awaits, complete with a wine-tasting session. The evening is free for us to explore Chambéry’s rich history and savor its exquisite cuisine.
Day 07: On day seven, we’ll explore the charming alpine town of Annecy, known for its Old Town, Venetian-like canals, Lake Annecy, and colorful streets. The day includes a visit to a local cheese cellar to learn about the region’s cheese ripening process, followed by a tasting. Evening in Chambéry is free for dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 08: This morning, savor artisan chocolates inspired by nature at a local chocolate. Later, explore the hilltop citadel of Briançon in the French Alps. Conclude the day with a delightful group dinner and free time in the refreshing alpine air.
Day 09: We’ll transition from alpine slopes to scenic hills and meadows on our way to Sisteron, where the remarkable 12th-century Citadel awaits. Our day concludes in the historic town of Gréoux-les-Bains, and we’ll wrap up the evening with a memorable farewell.
Day 10: Explore the stunning Provençal countryside on the final day of our tour, with a visit to Entrevaux, a charming medieval village along the River Var. Wander through the fortified walkways to the ancient Citadel for panoramic views before heading to the glamorous French Riviera capital, Nice, for a perfect ending by the clear waters of the Côte d’Azur.
