 Day 01: Upon reaching Guwahati airport or railway station, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative. Following a brief introduction, we’ll embark on our journey to Baghmara Reserve through Dudhnoi. Once we arrive at Baghmara town, you’ll be escorted to your accommodation at the hotel or guest house.

 Day 02: This morning, we’re embarking on an adventure through the dense forests of Baghmara Reserve, just 4 kilometers from town. Baghmara is renowned for its diverse plant and animal life, including langurs, tigers, leopards, hoolock gibbons, Assamese macaques, and orange-bellied squirrels. Unique flora such as Lady’s slipper and pitcher plants thrive here, adding to its natural beauty. Later, we’ll return to the guest house and in the evening, explore a nearby tribal village.

 Day 03: This morning, we embark on our adventure to Balpakram National Park, nestled in the picturesque Garo Hills. Situated 50 km beyond the Baghmara reserve, our journey promises scenic vistas and the chance to spot wildlife en route. Upon arrival, settle into the wildlife guest house.

Later in the day, we’ll set out for a brief trek through the reserve, eagerly anticipating encounters with its diverse wildlife.

Day 04: Today, we embark on an exhilarating full-day trek through the enchanting Balpakram National Park accompanied by a knowledgeable naturalist and an armed guide. Spanning approximately 220 square kilometers, Balpakram is a sanctuary to a diverse array of wildlife, including tigers, elephants, bison, black bears, leopards, sambar deer, and rare species like the Lesser Panda or Red Panda.

Renowned for its avian richness, Balpakram and the Garo hills are revered havens for birdwatchers, designated as crucial bird sites within Meghalaya by Indian bird conservationists. These hills host over 270 bird species, with sightings ranging from the majestic black & jerdon’s Baza and Mountain bamboo & white-cheeked partridge to the vibrant grey peacock, Blyth’s kingfisher, bay woodpecker, cuckoo, olive bulbul, eyebrowed wren babbler, white-winged duck, and the striking flavescent bulbul, among others.

Day 05: This morning, we’re off to Meghalaya’s capital, Shillong. Before reaching the city, we’ll make a stop at Shillong Peak, standing tall at 2000 meters above sea level, boasting the highest point in the region. From this vantage point, you’ll be treated to a stunning panoramic view of the city and surrounding villages, both during the day and at night, when the lights below create a magical scene resembling the starry sky. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to Shillong and check into our hotel. Enjoy a relaxed evening with a stroll around the local area.

Day 06: Embark on your journey to Cherrapunjee right after a hearty morning meal, just a short 65 km drive from Shillong. Known as the wettest place on earth, this destination promises breathtaking waterfalls cascading into deep gorges along the way. Upon arrival, settle into our hotel.

Refresh yourself and set out to explore the renowned Nohsngithiang Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, and Mawsmai Cave.
