In the morning, we’ll travel to Haridwar. This city, nestled at the foothills of the Shivalik Mountains, is the starting point for the famous Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand. In the evening, witness the enchanting beauty of the ghats adorned with thousands of diyas and marigolds during the Maha Aarti ceremony at Har Ki Pauri. Explore places like Mansa Devi temple, Sapt Rishi, and Daksha Mahadev temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Embark on a picturesque drive along the Ganges River, visiting historic confluences like Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers meet to form the Ganga. Continue to Wan via Rudraprayag and Karnprayag, reaching by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at a comfortable rest house.
Start the day with a scenic walk-through Wan village, experiencing local life. Traverse through lush landscapes and dense forests of Rhododendron and Oak, reaching the alpine grazing meadows of Bedni Bugyal. Set up camp surrounded by grazing pastures with close views of Trishul & Nanda Ghunti peaks. Overnight stay in tents.
Explore the Himalayan Alpine meadow of Bedni Bugyal, situated at 3,354 meters. Enjoy clear views of Trishul and Nanda Ghunti, and discover the small lake named Vaitarani (Bedini Kund). The area boasts rich flora, including the special ‘Brahm Kamal’ or Saussurea Obyallata. It’s a destination in itself with plenty of exploration and photography opportunities. Overnight in tents.
Trek from Bedni Bugyal to Bagubassa, ascending through alpine pasture lands with magnificent views of Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, and Badrinath peaks. The campsite at Bagubassa is marked by open rocky structures, surrounded by flowers, including the rare Brahma Kamal. Overnight in tents.
Continue the trail from Bagubassa, passing through delightful alpine pasture lands with views of Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, and Badrinath peaks. Explore Roopkund, where human bones and skeletons are preserved in the alpine condition for centuries. Spend time taking pictures and then return to Bedni Bugyal. Overnight in tents.
The trek back from Bedni to Wan is downhill and a bit of a photographer’s paradise. Enjoy the forest trail and return to the road head. Drive to Rudraprayag for an overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Haridwar via Devprayag and Rishikesh. Explore the temple and witness the famous Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in the evening. Later, board the overnight train to Delhi at 23:15 hrs.
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
